High-pressure system set to disrupt weather across four states

A strong high-pressure system is bringing cold mornings, fog and rain across parts of south-east Australia.
Tasmania and Victoria are feeling the chill, with Melbourne dropping to 6°C on Sunday and Hobart reaching 3°C. Liawenee in Tasmania recorded a low of -4.7°C.
Fog and frosty mornings are expected to continue in the coming days.
Meanwhile, rain is affecting the NSW coastline and south-east Queensland. Up to 30mm could fall between the NSW South Coast and Queensland’s North Tropical Coast through Wednesday.
Sydney recorded 7mm of rain on Sunday, with another 5mm possible on Monday. Showers are expected to ease by Wednesday.
Forecasters say the high-pressure system will continue to influence weather conditions across several states, bringing a mix of cold mornings, fog, frost and rain.
