Good Friday (April 18)

This is the quietest day for shopping – most places are shut.

• Woolworths: Closed nationwide except for select stores like Brisbane Airport (QLD), Mount Barker/Murray Bridge/Victor Harbor (SA), and a few in WA (Dunsborough, Margaret River, Perth Airport, etc).

• Coles: Closed everywhere except for a few stores in SA like Victor Harbor, Murray Bridge Green, and Mount Barker.

• Aldi & Bunnings: Closed across the country.

Easter Saturday

Back in business for most places.

• Woolworths: Open nationwide, with the exception of some Metro stores.

• Coles: Open everywhere, but hours might be a bit shorter.

• Aldi & Bunnings: Also open.

Easter Sunday

A bit patchy — some stores open, others not so much.

• Woolworths:

  • Open in QLD, VIC, TAS & WA (except for a few stores like Esperance WA, Moama VIC, and Pialba QLD).

  • Mostly closed or selective opening in NSW, ACT, SA & NT — best to check your local store online.

• Coles:
