Sri Lanka Customs Surpasses August Revenue Target

Sri Lanka Customs has already exceeded its revenue target for August, reaching Rs. 199.629 billion by August 27.
The monthly target was set at Rs. 190.274 billion. With four more days remaining in the month, Customs revenue is expected to pass the Rs. 200 billion mark.
For 2026, Sri Lanka Customs has been given an annual revenue target of Rs. 2,206.995 billion. During the first eight months of the year, it has collected around Rs. 1,832.7 billion.
Customs also surpassed its annual target in 2025, recording total revenue of Rs. 2,557.535 billion.
The latest figures highlight the strong revenue performance of Sri Lanka Customs and its growing contribution to government finances.
