Menzies Aviation secures SriLankan Airlines contract at Sydney Airport

Sri Lanka’s Cabinet has approved a new ground handling contract for SriLankan Airlines at Sydney Airport, ensuring services continue without disruption.

The previous agreement ended on April 30, 2026, prompting a limited international tender. Three bids were reviewed, with Menzies Aviation (Australia) Pty Ltd selected as the best-qualified and most cost-effective option.

The contract, approved on the recommendation of the procurement committee, runs for three years from May 1, 2026, and is valued at approximately AUD 8.32 million.
