Australia Commits AUD 1M to Sri Lanka's Disaster Response

The Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka has announced a significant funding commitment to support disaster response and recovery efforts following the ongoing impacts of Cyclone Ditwah.

In an official statement issued in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Sri Lanka, the High Commission confirmed that Australia is committing AUD 1 million for immediate action.

The funding is designated to provide urgent relief for communities severely affected by the cyclone.

"In light of the ongoing impacts of Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka, Australia is committing AUD 1 million for immediate response and recovery efforts. This funding will support urgent relief for affected communities.
